Acceptance of Terms

Bidesh Pathai ("Bidesh Pathai," "the agency," "we," "us," "our") is a free study-abroad agency that helps Bangladeshi students apply to Malaysian universities. By accessing or using this website, or by engaging our services through WhatsApp, our forms, or any other channel, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy — all contained on this page. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this site or our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and prospective students who access the site or contact us. By continuing to use Bidesh Pathai after any changes are posted, you accept the updated terms.

What This Service Is

Bidesh Pathai provides no-service-charge study-in-Malaysia guidance for Bangladeshi students. We guide you from your first question through application and arrival-planning steps. Our service includes:

• Free consultation and university shortlisting based on your CGPA, IELTS/MUET level, field of study, and budget
• Preparing and submitting your university applications
• Helping you identify and apply for scholarships and tuition discounts offered by universities
• Following up on your offer letter / Letter of Offer
• Guidance for EMGS, eVAL, and the Student Pass (visa) process, alongside the university and official authorities
• Online tools on this site, including a Match Finder shortlist helper, a university directory, a scholarship overview, an application roadmap, and an FAQ

No University or Government Affiliation

We work with Malaysian universities as a recruitment and admissions partner. Where we describe a university as a "partner," we mean that we are authorised to submit student applications to that institution — not that we control its decisions, fees, scholarships, or programs.

University names, tuition and scholarship details, accreditation status, and program information shown on this site are provided for general guidance only. All university trademarks, logos, and names belong to their respective institutions, and final authority over admissions, scholarships, and fees rests with each university and the relevant Malaysian authorities.

Data Accuracy Disclaimer

The information on this site is compiled from official university websites, scholarship portals, and information shared by our university partners. We work to keep it accurate, but details change frequently and we cannot guarantee that every figure is current. In particular:

• Scholarship and tuition-discount amounts can change between intakes
• Application deadlines may shift or close earlier than expected
• CGPA cutoffs and IELTS/MUET requirements may differ from what is shown
• Programs may be discontinued, paused, or restructured
• Funding availability changes each academic cycle
• EMGS, eVAL, and Student Pass requirements are set by the relevant authorities and can be updated at any time

To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty — express or implied — that any information on this site is complete, accurate, up-to-date, or suitable for any particular purpose.

The most reliable path is to ask us directly for a current quote and requirements, or to verify the detail on the official university website, before you commit.

Scam & Fraud Awareness

We only communicate through our official channels: the email and WhatsApp number listed in the Contact section of this page and our official social media accounts. To help you stay safe, please keep these points in mind:

• Bidesh Pathai never charges a service fee. Anyone demanding money "to use Bidesh Pathai" or "to guarantee your placement through Bidesh Pathai" is not us.
• No one can guarantee admission, a scholarship, or a visa. These decisions are made by the universities and the Malaysian authorities. Be cautious of anyone who "guarantees" an outcome for a fee.
• Official fees are paid to official bodies. University application fees, EMGS fees, and Student Pass/visa fees are paid to the university, EMGS, and the relevant Malaysian authorities — never informally to an individual.
• Verify before you pay anyone. If you are unsure whether a message, account, or request is genuinely from us, contact us directly using the details in the Contact section before sending money or documents.

If you encounter someone impersonating Bidesh Pathai or offering "guaranteed" admission, scholarships, or visas for a fee, please report it to us and to the relevant authorities.

We help you deal with universities and official bodies, but the final relationship for admission, payment of official fees, and visa approval is between you and those institutions and authorities. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the conduct of third parties outside our control.

Guidance, Not a Guarantee

Bidesh Pathai provides admissions and visa guidance. We work hard on your behalf, but we cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcome — including admission to a particular university, the award of any scholarship or tuition discount, the issuance of an offer letter, or the approval of EMGS, eVAL, or a Student Pass/visa. Those decisions are made solely by the universities and the relevant Malaysian authorities, based on your own qualifications, documents, and eligibility.

Our guidance, along with the content on this site — including Match Finder results, scholarship figures, the roadmap, and the FAQ — is general in nature and does not replace the official rules of any university, EMGS, or immigration authority. For binding requirements, always rely on the relevant official body. We may also refer you to EMGS, the High Commission of Malaysia, or your university's international office for matters that fall under their authority.

Your Use of This Site

You agree to use this site and our services only for lawful purposes. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or reproduce the university directory or scholarship data for commercial use without our permission
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect site data at scale
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its infrastructure
• Submit false, misleading, fabricated, or forged documents or information when engaging our service
• Use this site to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content

Because we apply to universities and official bodies on your behalf, you are responsible for giving us accurate, truthful, and complete information and documents. Submitting false or fraudulent documents can lead to rejection, visa refusal, or other consequences for which you are solely responsible.

Intellectual Property

The Bidesh Pathai name, logo, brand mark, and original written content, design, and code on this site are the intellectual property of Bidesh Pathai.

University names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective institutions and are used here for reference only.

You may share links to this site freely. You may not reproduce or republish our original content commercially without our written permission.

Third-Party Links & Services

This site links to and relies on external services, including official university websites, the EMGS portal, government and immigration pages, WhatsApp, Google Forms, and other resources. These links and services are provided for your convenience and to deliver our service.

We have no control over the content, accuracy, availability, or policies of these external sites and services. A link from Bidesh Pathai does not make us responsible for them, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party sites.

When you follow a link to an external site such as EMGS or a university portal, you leave Bidesh Pathai and become subject to that site's own terms and privacy policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bidesh Pathai and its team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, this site or our services
• Any inaccurate scholarship, deadline, tuition, or admission information on this site
• Application rejections, scholarship refusals, visa or Student Pass denials, or financial loss related to decisions made by universities or authorities
• Any scam, fraud, or misconduct by universities, third parties, or anyone impersonating us
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Temporary or permanent unavailability of the site
• Any loss arising from reliance on Match Finder results, scholarship estimates, or data displayed on the site

This site and our free guidance are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We make no guarantee that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure, and we do not guarantee any admission, scholarship, or visa outcome.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the site.

Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, please stop using the site.

What Data We Collect

Bidesh Pathai is built with privacy first. Because we are a service-based agency, the main thing we hold is the information you choose to share with us so we can help you apply. Here is exactly what we collect — and what we don't:

What you share with us for consultations and applications:

• Contact details — such as your name, WhatsApp number, and email, when you reach out to us.
• Academic and application information — for example your CGPA, IELTS/MUET level, field of study, budget, preferred intake, and the documents required to apply (such as transcripts, certificates, and passport details). You share these voluntarily so we can prepare and submit your application and visa paperwork.
• We mainly receive this information through WhatsApp and Google Forms. Messages and form responses are handled under the privacy policies of those services (Meta/WhatsApp and Google) in addition to this policy.

What the website collects automatically:

• Anonymized analytics data — page views, approximate country, and browser type, collected via Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies. See Section 14.
• The Match Finder shortlist tool runs in your browser. The values you enter (CGPA, IELTS, field, budget) are used to show you matches and are not sent to or stored on our servers.

What we do NOT do:

• We do not charge you, so we never collect payment-card information.
• We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• We only share your documents and details with the specific universities and official bodies (such as EMGS) needed to process your application, with your knowledge.

We use the information you provide solely to deliver our free service — shortlisting universities, preparing and submitting applications, pursuing scholarships and offer letters, and supporting your EMGS, eVAL, and Student Pass/visa process.

Newsletter, Email Marketing & Your Data

When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect:

• Your email address
• The date and source of your signup

We use this data to:

• Send you scholarship alerts, deadline reminders, and platform updates
• Understand which content is most relevant to our community (aggregate open/click rates)
• Improve our email content over time based on engagement patterns
• Occasionally notify you about new features or important changes to Bidesh Pathai

What we do NOT do with your email:

• We do not sell your email address to any third party — ever
• We do not share your email with advertisers or data brokers
• We do not use your email for unrelated commercial purposes

Our newsletter signup is collected through Google Forms. Your data is stored according to Google's privacy policy in addition to this one. We recommend reviewing it when you sign up.

Google Analytics & Site Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-NZJ2PW99S6) to understand how visitors use Bidesh Pathai — which pages are most useful, where users come from, and how they navigate the site. This helps us improve the service for Bangladeshi students.

Google Analytics is consent-gated on this site using Google Consent Mode. On every page load, analytics storage defaults to denied, so no analytics cookies are set until you take action. Analytics only activates if you click "Accept" on our cookie consent banner. If you click "Skip", or ignore the banner, consent remains denied and Google Analytics stays blocked.

When analytics is active, Google may collect:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Approximate geographic location (country/city — not precise)
• Device type, browser, and operating system
• Referral source (e.g., Google Search, direct link)

We have enabled IP anonymization in our Google Analytics configuration. We do not use Google Analytics Advertising Features, remarketing, or demographics tracking.

Google's privacy policy governs how Google processes this data: policies.google.com/privacy.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect basic server-side request logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) as part of their standard infrastructure operation, under their own privacy policy.

Your Data Rights

You have the following rights regarding data Bidesh Pathai holds about you:

• Access: You can request a copy of any data we hold about you
• Correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your data (for example your consultation details, application documents, or newsletter email)
• Unsubscribe: You can opt out of marketing emails at any time
• Withdraw consent: You can clear your analytics consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hellobideshpathai@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that while your application is in progress, some details may already have been submitted to a university or to EMGS, and those bodies hold their own copies under their own policies.

We retain your information only for as long as needed to provide our service and to meet any legal or record-keeping obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it. Bidesh Pathai does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information through this site, please contact us.

What Cookies We Use

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Bidesh Pathai uses a minimal number of cookies — only what is necessary for the site to function correctly.

Functional storage (always active):

• ga_consent — Stores your analytics consent choice (accept / skip). Stored in your browser's localStorage. Persists until you clear your browser data.
• bp_mpop_min — Remembers that you closed or minimized the free-consultation popup, so it does not keep reappearing. Stored in localStorage. Persists until you clear your browser data.
• Local / session storage for tools — Used by features such as the Match Finder shortlist and the roadmap checklist to remember your choices on your device. This data stays in your browser and is not sent to our servers.

Analytics cookies (only if you accept):

• _ga, _ga_*, _gid — Google Analytics cookies that track page views and sessions anonymously. These are set by Google. They expire after 2 years (_ga) or 24 hours (_gid).

Cookies we do NOT use:

• Advertising or retargeting cookies
• Social media tracking pixels
• Third-party behavioral profiling cookies
• Any cookies that identify you personally

Managing Cookies

You have full control over the cookies on this site:

• Analytics consent: Choose "Accept" or "Skip" on the cookie banner when you first visit. To change your choice, open your browser's developer tools, go to Application → Local Storage → bideshpathai.com, and delete the ga_consent key. Refresh the page and the banner will reappear.
• Browser settings: You can configure your browser to block all cookies, delete existing cookies, or alert you when a site tries to set a cookie. Note that blocking functional cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
• Google Analytics opt-out: You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being sent to Google Analytics across all sites.

We do not use cookie walls. You can use all core features of Bidesh Pathai even if you decline analytics cookies.
